Nippers at Wanda

Wanda Nippers is one of the premier clubs in NSW. Also known as Wanda JAG (Junior Activities Group), we are part of Wanda SLSC. Established in 1964, we are proud of our history:

• Surf education and awareness for many thousands of children
• Being one of the strongest clubs in NSW in surf sports competition
• Creating the life savers on the future.

What is Nippers?

Nippers introduces children aged 5 to 14 to surf lifesaving. Offered across Australia, Nippers teaches lessons and skills which allow young people to continue in lifesaving and sport as they grow older. Nippers is a great way for children to make friends, be active and enjoy the beach in a safe environment. It’s about learning skills, gaining confidence and having fun in a safe environment. Kids swim, board paddle, beach sprint, dolphin-dive, spot rips, have fun with new friends and learn about the surf environment.
